Confusion over Fingerprinting
During the latter part of May, it was brought to the attention of the Vermont Service Center that due to a systems issue, some Lawful Permanent Residents and some Naturalized citizens were receiving ASC appointment notices. This caused confusion and the USCIS advised that individuals who are already LPRs or US citizens, (unless they have filed a recent application or petition) should disregard these notices.
