Missed a USCIS fingerprinting biometrics appointment?

Just read a memo from the USCIS about how they will provide expedited review for certain administrative errors that require corrective action. The USCIS is willing to provide faster action for errors such as the following:

  1. If an immigrant applicant was denied a benefit because he missed a fingerprinting appointment due to the fingerprint notice being sent to a wrong address or previous address.
  2. If an immigrant applicant was denied a benefit because the agency believed he did not attend a fingerprint appointment when in fact he did and it can be documented.
  3. If an immigrant applicant was denied a benefit because the agency believed he did not attend a fingerprint appointment when in fact he requested a rescheduling of a fingerprinting appointment and it can be documented.

Kudos to the USCIS for recognizing how cases can slip through the cracks and providing reasonable measures to correct the problem expeditiously.

IF YOU MISSED YOUR BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT, YOU MUST ACT QUICKLY TO AVOID YOUR IMMIGRATION BENEFIT APPLICATION POTENTIALLY BEING DENIED. This has important consequences and could result in a denial of critical applications such as an adjustment of status application or a removal of conditional permanent residence.Call me at 626-771-1078 to see how I can help!
